Who this service is for
Dyslexia Action provides services and support for children, adults, parents, educational institutions and employers with dyslexia and literacy difficulties, offering free advice alongside screening and assessments.
Parent and sibling involvement
Parents are not required to be present during a child’s assessment. However, where parents feel there is a particular need for them to be present during assessment, this will be considered. For children receiving tutoring, parents are not required to be present.

Siblings can attend the activity but parents should note that Dyslexia Action office staff cannot be held responsible for the supervision of children and young people on Dyslexia Action premises whilst their parents are receiving post-assessment feedback.
Registered service and regulatory body
Our teachers are registered members of the Dyslexia Guild. Where relevant, our assessors hold an Assessment Practising Certificate, accredited by the British Dyslexia Association. HCPC for our psychologists.
