Description

A youth club for wheelchair users to meet new friends, gain new skills and join in the fun and activities such as music, drama and art, to sport, cooking, campaigning and trips.

You will need to register with Whizz-Kidz 4 weeks before the next club to attend.

Whizz-Kidz is a national charity working throughout the UK, transforming the lives of disabled children and young people by providing equipment, support and life skills they need, when they need them - giving them the chance to develop their full potential.

Whizz-Kidz run a wide range of services for young wheelchair users, completely free of charge, including:

  • Youth clubs
  • Young leader programme
  • Wheelchair skills training
  • Camps
  • Work-placements.

Whizz-Kidz also provides a range of mobility equipment to children and young people with a physical disability to give them independence at home, at school and at play. This also includes sports wheelchairs. If your local NHS Wheelchair Service does not provide equipment to meet the mobility needs of your child, then Whizz-Kids may able to help.
