Below are a list of nursing and health services available to children and their families.

General
Children’s Epilepsy and Neurology Service
Description
We provide services to children who have a diagnosed neurological condition or epilepsy and who have a hospital consultant. We provide locally based clinics and training and education about the conditions.

Location and access
Hull Royal infirmary. It covers all of Hull and East Riding.

We provide locally based nurse-led clinics as well as clinics based within special schools. All clinics have parking available.
Access to this service
Referrals are made via the hospital or Community Paediatricians. Families cannot self-refer.
How we communicate with children, young people with SEND and their families
With verbal and written information, use of good web-based resources, age appropriate information.
Registered service and regulatory body
Yes – Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Training acquired to support children and young people with SEND and their families
We are very experienced at working alongside children and families who have additional difficulties and keep up to date by education and specific training and work closely with education and social care.
