T.Y.L.E.R (The Young Leaders of East Riding)

T.Y.L.E.R. are looking for young people’s views and opinions on bullying. The group have 3 questions they would like young people to answer so they can feedback about the impact bullying has on young people’s lives to the Local Council.

1. How does bullying impact on young people’s lives, how does it make them feel?
2. Do you think there is enough support for young people that have or are experiencing bulling?
3. What support do you think can be put in place to help people being bullied or that have experienced it?
T.Y.L.E.R would really appreciate your feedback so they can continue to make a difference to young peoples lives and make sure there is support available.

 Autism Awareness Courses 

Seminars are open to all parents and professional/practitioners.

Understanding Autism Seminar

The seminar is open to families and practitioners who would like to know more about Autism Spectrum Conditions, including;
    What is Autism?
    How Autism affects social communication
    How sensory differences can affect a person with Autism
    Strategies to support people with Autism.

Legal Workshop - EYPCF are delighted to welcome Irwin Mitchell to deliver information around Wills, Trusts, Mental capacity, Power of Attorney and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

Workshop: Knowledge, Information and Support - delivering information about the SEND process from early SEN support right through to the completion of the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and all the steps around identification and assessment.

This is an opportunity to come along and have some time out in pleasant surroundings, enjoy a lovely lunch and chat to other parent/carers with similar experiences. We will also hold a prize draw for a day pass to the Spa. Dates for this workshop:

Single Route of Redress – National Trial - Extending Powers of the First-tier Tribunal ( SEND) - From 3 April 2018

The Government are extending the powers of the First-tier Tribunal (SEND), sometimes referred to as the ‘SEND Tribunal’, to make non-binding recommendations about the health and social care aspects of Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans as part of a two-year trial. The trial will apply to decisions made or EHC plans issued/amended from 3 April 2018
