Description

We are a Sexual and Reproductive Health Service providing:

  • advice, screening and treatment for your sexual health needs.
  • advice and provision of your contraceptive needs
  • an early medical abortion service
  • a community gynaecology service
  • a dedicated learning disabilities and difficulties clinic based at the Orchard Centre
  • help with contraceptive needs, sexual health needs and support with things such as painful, heavy periods
  • clinics within the East Riding based at Beverley, Driffield, Hessle, Bridlington, Goole and Withernsea.
  • an outreach service where clients are seen in places they are most comfortable, for example schools, colleges or their own home.

The Integrated sexual health service City Health Care Partnership (CHCP), a community interest company. Offers NHS services.

Staff training and experience

Staff undertake safeguarding training and mental capacity act training. In addition staff work closely with those professionals that might be involved with client and families in order to ensure individual support. interpreters for language and sign language can be requested in advance.
